shot with my film camera, no retouching - this is how it came out, that's why 1985 was a good year (my minolta's from then) - in the bright stark sunlight of the northern cape. my first job outside of cape town. my first experience of what it can be like when things come together and you get to do what you love, work with wise and generous people and feel the freedom of taking a wee behind a small hill because you're in the middle of nowhere, and the drop toilet is covered in spiderwebs and the caravan is just a caravan with no where to go, except if you want a cool place to sit.
