I was born in CapeTown, South Africa. I was raised in the Cape flats; a world I consider complex and richly varied. I am mostly self taught, the camera speaks for me when I can't. My third eye freezes places, spaces and times of my life. I am very stuck on film but I do move with the times. My work is inspired by xerox art of the 80´s to present, fluxus and dada, as well as collage. I am also inspired by many of the 70's photographers(conceptual photography-ART as Idea); not forgetting the pioneers of African photography -Santu Mofokeng,Malik Sidibe´,Rotimi Fani-Kayode,Berni Searle and others ---
